What is a Military Education Advisor?
A Military Education Advisor (MEA) helps active duty service members use their Army COOL and Air Force COOL benefits to earn professional certifications at no out-of-pocket cost. You advise them on the right certification, help them apply, and follow through until their quote is uploaded and their funding is approved.
Is AristaLearn hiring more than one Advisor?
Yes. AristaLearn is hiring multiple Military Education Advisors nationwide.
What am I offering service members?
A free benefit they've already earned. 96% of active duty service members don't know they have Army COOL and Air Force COOL funding. Every AristaLearn certification is covered by these programs, so service members pay nothing out of pocket.
What does a typical day look like?
There's no typical 9-to-5. You'll reach out to your military network, connect with installations, education offices, TAP offices, and Guard units, and advise service members on their benefits. Then you follow through so each member applies and uploads their quote.
Can currently serving members apply?
No. Currently serving Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve members are not eligible for this role.
Do I need experience with Army COOL or Air Force COOL?
It helps, but it isn't required. AristaLearn trains every Advisor on Army COOL, Air Force COOL, Credentialing Assistance, Tuition Assistance, and SkillBridge.
Who is the ideal Advisor?
Self-motivated, proactive people who enjoy helping others succeed. Former Recruiters, Career Counselors, Retention NCOs, Education Services Specialists, and TAP professionals are a natural fit.
Is this a job or a business?
It's a business opportunity. You set your own schedule, build your own network, and grow your own territory.
Can I build a team?
Yes. You can invite other Veterans, Retirees, and Military Spouses to become Advisors, and earn team income as you mentor and develop them.
Do I need an LLC?
Yes. You'll need an existing LLC or be willing to set one up.
What does AristaLearn provide?
Full onboarding and training, outreach materials, certification flyers to help you match service members with the right certification, and your own free Advisor website. You focus on advising.
Is this a remote role?
You can live anywhere in the United States and set your own schedule. The role is field-based, so expect regular local and regional travel to installations, armories, and military events.
Will I work weekends?
Weekend National Guard drill activities and military events are a key part of reaching service members, so weekend availability is expected.
