Military Education Advisors educate service members on Army COOL, Air Force COOL, Credentialing Assistance, Tuition Assistance, and DoD SkillBridge. The role combines outreach, relationship building, advising, and enrollment support to help service members use the education benefits they've earned.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor (1099) role. Pay is performance-based and rewards outreach, enrollments, and growth. Advisors can also earn team income by mentoring and developing Advisors in their territory.
Yes. You'll need to have an LLC or be willing to establish one.
Yes, you can work from anywhere in the United States. The role is field-based, so regular local and regional travel is required, with occasional overnight travel.
Yes. Advisors are expected to be available for weekend National Guard drill activities and military events.
Experience personally using Army COOL, Air Force COOL, Credentialing Assistance, or Tuition Assistance is preferred. The role is a strong fit for former Recruiters, Career Counselors, HR Specialists, Retention and Readiness NCOs, Education Services Specialists, and Transition Assistance (TAP) professionals.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, comfort presenting one-on-one and to groups, the ability to stay organized and self-manage your scheduling and follow-up, and basic computer skills (email, CRM, and online meetings).
Advisors receive onboarding, training, outreach materials, and ongoing support.
Yes. Advisors can build their own territory, grow a regional organization, and qualify for leadership incentives and regional roles as AristaLearn grows.
AristaLearn offers approved certification programs in Project Management, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Human Resources, Lean Six Sigma, Leadership Development, and Artificial Intelligence.
